Partner with Viewing Product teams to understand app performance and deliver recommendations to expand and engage with key audiences
Requirements
- Proficient in SQL and Excel (R or Python a plus)
- Experience with Tableau, Looker, Domo or equivalent data visualization tools
- Experience working with large datasets
- Knowledge of A/B and multivariate tools, as well as statistical models
Responsibilities
- Understand how users navigate the app experience as they enter video playback
- Work within large datasets to interpret trends and turn those into sound recommendations
- Maintain, update, and distribute actionable dashboards or reports to ensure data democratization and informed decision making
- Partner with Data Engineering teams to identify and enhance data sources
- Prepare and inform material for senior level executive presentations
- Leverage data visualization tools like Tableau to curate reporting for cross-functional teams
Other
- 2+ years of experience working in a data-oriented role
- BA/BS or MS degree in a quantitative area of study (Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, or Computer Science) or relevant work experience
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail, work ethic, sense of curiosity, accountability, and ability to execute projects of all sizes with vision & purpose
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate, collaborate and influence
- Ability to deliver on multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
- Self-driven, confident, resourceful, and resilient
- Intellectual curiosity and interest in media industry or product
- This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
