Premier Health's Analytics Team needs to enhance the value of its data assets by delivering reports, dashboards, and other analytical solutions of high complexity that are cost-effective, secure, and produce high levels of customer satisfaction. The Senior Analytics Developer will lead the delivery of these solutions and support information needs for regulatory, clinical, quality, enterprise, and financial areas.
Requirements
- Analytics, SQL coding, visualization, and data structures.
- Experience writing advanced SQL code is required.
- Three years of experience with a visualization application is required, including the development of the analytics presentation layer via reports, metrics, and dashboards, as well as data platform or universe build
- Must have a minimum of three years of development experience with an ETL tool such as Microsoft SSIS.
- Prior experience with data profiling and metadata management tools is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develops, tests, and implements reporting and analytics solutions that meet departmental objectives within functional areas of responsibility.
- Creates and executes unit and integration test plans.
- Develops complex ETL routines to populate data repositories.
- Develops end-user data platforms required for fulfillment of self-service analytics.
- Sources data from approved databases.
- Advanced writing of SQL code, independently using visualization tools, ETL tools, and creating end user reports and dashboards.
- Experience writing advanced SQL code is required.

- Researches, understands, and promotes Premier Health IT policies, procedures and practices, especially related to incident handling and service level agreements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in IT with 7 years of IT experience or a related Bachelor’s Degree with 9 years of IT experience is required. Related degrees include BSN, BS Medical Technology, BS Radiology, BS Mathematics, BS Engineering, BS Biomedical Engineering, BS Laboratory, Pharmacy, or BS Medicine. Or an Associates Degree with 12 years of IT experience.
