Requirements
- 5+ years of professional Android application development experience post-degree, with expertise in Java and Kotlin
- Strong knowledge of Android SDK, Kotlin Coroutines, and Android UI components
- Experience with MVVM design pattern and Jetpack libraries
- Proficiency in Android development tools such as Android Studio and Gradle
- Excellent understanding of RESTful web services
- Experience integrating Android applications with real-time data processing systems
- Ability to write clean, efficient, and scalable code
Responsibilities
- Design and implement new features for Android applications used in portable scientific analyzers (XRF, LIBS, Raman, NIR)
- Contribute to 80% new product development and 20% maintenance of existing applications
- Support integration with SciAps Cloud platform and Desktop Calibration tools
- Collaborate with the science team to develop and implement spectrum processing and data analysis algorithms
