Grainger is seeking to enhance its product matching and semantic search capabilities through the application of AI, deep learning, and NLP techniques to improve customer experience and decision-making in the MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operating) space.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Applied Machine Learning, Physics, Business Analytics, or related field
- 3 years related experience
- Experience developing and monitoring end-to-end machine learning workflows in Databricks
- Experience fine-tuning LLMs and sentence transformers
- Experience leveraging AI, deep learning, and NLP techniques
- Experience performing data mining using SQL
- Experience conducting exploratory data analysis
Responsibilities
- Develop and monitor end-to-end machine learning workflows in Databricks
- Fine-tune LLMs and sentence transformers to enhance performance of retrieval tasks by learning user intent of search queries and improving the model’s understanding of MRO language
- Leverage AI, deep learning, and NLP techniques to improve competitor product matching and semantic search
- Perform data mining using SQL
- Conduct exploratory data analysis and present insights to the client to enhance decision-making
