Workday Learning is looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join their team to enhance the personal experience of millions of daily users globally. The role will support U.S. Federal Government contracts, requiring a focus on security and compliance.

Requirements

  • 2+ years software development experience with Object Oriented design and Java development experience (Java, Python, etc.)
  • 2 years of experience with UML, Web application development or SaaS
  • Algorithmic and Object-Oriented Design
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and a proven understanding and application of object-oriented design (OOD) principles.
  • Strong proven understanding of design and analysis of software for performance
  • Algorithmic Thinking
  • Metadata-driven definitional development experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • As a Software Development Engineer, you will work with other developers, software architects, and product owners to design, develop, and deliver high-quality software products that meet the needs of our customers.

  • This role will support one or more direct or indirect contracts with the U.S. Federal Government which, due to federal government security requirements, mandates that all Workday personnel working on the contracts be United States citizens (naturalized or native).
