Apple Vision Pro is a revolutionary spatial computer that seamlessly blends digital content with your physical space. A key part of that experience is Spatial Audio. The Audio team within Apple's Vision Products Group (VPG) is seeking a Senior Audio Software Engineer to help push the limits of what audio can do for Spatial Computing.
Requirements
- Deep knowledge of C/C++ and Design Patterns that scale
- Proven focus on Test Drive Development and quality documentation
- Experience working in Audio Architectures and common Digital Signal Processing for audio.
- Understanding of software optimization tools and techniques
- Experience in the Apple developer ecosystem, including Objective-C, Swift, and Xcode
- AudioUnit plugin development experience
- Embedded software experience
Responsibilities
- investigate and define architectures for Spatial Audio
- lead development of those architectures/ features
- broadly collaborate across Apple to bring them to life
- mentor other engineers on the team
- help build future leaders
