AmeriLife is seeking a Senior Azure Cloud Engineer to lead the design, deployment, and governance of scalable cloud infrastructure, ensuring secure, resilient, and cost-effective cloud solutions.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience with Azure cloud services
- Hands-on experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD, and IaC tools
- Proven ability to secure enterprise cloud environments
- Strong knowledge of Azure Synapse, Fabric, and data lake architecture
- Experience implementing Zero Trust IAM frameworks
- Deep Expertise in Azure Services: Proficiency in core Azure services like virtual machines, networking, storage, databases, and security services
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Experience with tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep
Responsibilities
- Architect and provision cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM)
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions
- Enforce robust security practices across cloud workloads using Azure Security Center, Key Vault, and Conditional Access
- Lead implementation and monitoring of Azure Synapse Analytics and Microsoft Fabric for data-driven solutions
- Maintain operational excellence through automated monitoring, alerting, and self-healing infrastructure
- Manage and govern Identity and Access Management policies using Azure Active Directory and RBAC
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure best practices in resource configuration, tagging, and cost control
