Zora is looking for an experienced product-focused back-end engineer to join their Trade team to build out core trading experiences that power hundreds of millions in onchain volume on Zora. The engineer will own and evolve existing trade features, as well as shape new features from design to launch.
Requirements
- Strong technical background building APIs at scale, particularly with GraphQL
- Experience moving across the stack when needed (Typescript, React, Next, Solidity)
- Familiarity with crypto features and concepts
- A desire to keep up with modern best practices in software development and Web3
Responsibilities
- Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers across the stack to build and continuously improve trading-related features
- Develop and maintain performant, scalable user interfaces across mobile and web
- Take ownership of projects end-to-end, working independently while seeking guidance from senior peers and managers as needed
- Communicate status, updates, blockers, etc., to cross-functional stakeholders
- Respond to incidents as part of an on-call rotation
- Participate in RFC and code review

- 4+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer
- You’re comfortable working through the product lifecycle, partnering closely with Designers, Engineers, and Product Managers to bring ideas to life
