Helius is looking to accelerate the development of internet capital markets by making it easier, faster, and more intuitive to build on-chain, specifically by building the core infrastructure for Solana
Requirements
- 3+ years of strong backend engineering experience
- Experience with Rust (strongly preferred), C++, or an equivalent language
- Professional experience with distributed systems, data pipelines, and performance-focused engineering
- Familiar with database schema design and optimization patterns for large datasets
- Ability to break down complex problems into simple solutions
- Relentless curiosity and a drive to dive deep into performance optimizations
Responsibilities
- Build ingestion, indexing, and retrieval features across our archival systems
- Improve API performance and reliability for high-throughput services
- Optimize query performance against databases like ClickHouse, Postgres, and RocksDB
- Collaborate with senior & staff engineers on caching, scaling, and distributed data patterns
- Debug, profile, and maintain production systems for performance
- Engage in system design, technical discussions, and long-term planning
