The Colorado Community College System (CCCS) is looking to hire a Senior BI Data Warehouse Developer to design reports and dashboards, work with end-users, and maintain data warehouse creation, maintenance, and reporting.
Requirements
- Cognos Report Studio.
- Developing reports using Oracle PL/SQL, i.e. writing PL/SQL packages, stored procedures and functions for data analysis.
- Strong knowledge of relational database concepts, triggers and stored procedures.
- Knowledgeable of ETL tools.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and develop new reports in Cognos Report Studio.
- Design, implement, and maintain dashboards to support system-wide strategic initiatives.
- Perform complex data analysis.
- Assist in defining application development project plans, including scoping, scheduling, and implementation.
- Consistently write, translate, and code software programs and applications according to business requirements.
- Creation/Maintenance of documentation regarding data warehouse and associated interfaces as required.
- Present and communicate complex data and system information to various groups and individuals in writing and verbally.
Other
- The person in this position works independently and functions as an effective team member in a variety of projects related to data warehouse creation, maintenance, and reporting.
- The position may take on the role of support lead or analyst and focus on responding to customer issues.
- Train end users to operate new or modified programs.
- Work directly with the Developers, DBAs, and Project Management Team in a collaborative, cooperative, and customer-centric environment.
