Secmation is redefining how secure software is built for advanced defense and embedded systems, and is seeking Senior Cybersecurity Software Engineers to help design and implement secure, mission-critical software.
Requirements
- 7+ years of hands-on embedded software development experience (C/C++, RTOS, ARM or similar architectures).
- 5+ years of cybersecurity software development experience for embedded systems.
- Strong C/C++ programming skills with design and implementation of security controls across different development platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to implement robust security controls in real-time and constrained environments.
- Expert-level understanding of cybersecurity technologies, vulnerabilities, and mitigations.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, and test secure software solutions for embedded systems, autonomous platforms, and AI-enabled technologies.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, subcontractors, and DoD customers to solve complex technical challenges.
- Apply deep knowledge of software security principles to develop secure software solutions to mitigate vulnerabilities in real-world systems.
- Contribute to the evolution of our technology and company as we scale - with growth opportunities into technical leadership roles.

- Active DoD Security Clearance (any level)
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Strong communication skills - capable of presenting to stakeholders, writing technical documents, and contributing to proposals.
