Pinterest is looking for a Sr. Data Analyst to lead the execution of their Workplace analytics program from the ground up, independently design and execute the analytics roadmap, develop impactful data products, and inform critical business decisions for Workplace and cross-functional partners.
Requirements
- Knowledge of SQL and experience working with modern data warehousing and ETL solutions (e.g., Snowflake, 5Tran) and business intelligence/visualization tools (e.g., Tableau).
- 5yrs+ Experience working with complex or incomplete data to create clear, actionable insights, preferably in Workplace, real estate, facilities, or related fields.
- Proactive in identifying new ways to analyze data and support data-driven decisions by leadership.
- Able to design and improve processes for using data, ensuring our analytics approach grows with the business.
- A strategic problem-solver who can pull together information from multiple sources to address open-ended questions.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end analytic solutions: Define, implement, and manage Workplace analytics tools and processes, translating raw data sources into actionable insights, products, and visualizations.
- Drive strategic analysis: Independently identify key analytic needs and deliver data-driven solutions for Workplace teams such as real estate, culinary services, events, site operations, safety, and security.
- Build scalable frameworks: Develop data models, analytics frameworks, and self-service reporting capabilities to support evolving business needs.
- Own the scoping, prioritization, and delivery of analytic projects, ensuring analytics efforts are aligned with business priorities.

- Engage and influence stakeholders: Build and manage relationships with partners across Workplace, Finance, IT, executive leadership, and other business functions.
- Communicate insights effectively: Synthesize and present insights to technical and non-technical audiences, transforming data into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain data findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven relationship-building skills and the ability to collaborate across diverse teams to drive cross-functional solutions.
- Adaptive work style, with a track record of managing priorities and delivering results with minimal guidance.
- This role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration 2-3 times per week and therefore needs to be in a commutable distance from one of the following offices Chicago, IL & San Francisco preferably but open to other office locations.
