Icon Media Direct is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to leverage advanced analytics, SQL, Python, and visualization tools to evaluate media performance and solve complex client problems
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in SQL, relational databases, and data manipulation
- Hands-on experience with Python (or R/SAS) for data analysis, automation, and modeling
- Proficiency with Tableau (or other data visualization tools) and advanced Excel skills
- Working knowledge of cloud data environments (Snowflake, AWS, Redshift)
- Solid understanding of statistical concepts: probability distributions, hypothesis testing, time-series analysis
Responsibilities
- Analyze performance of Linear TV, CTV, and Digital Marketing campaigns to understand how advertising drives business outcomes for clients
- Acquire, extract, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources; ensure data accuracy and integrity
- Design, build, and maintain Tableau dashboards and automated reporting solutions, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and alignment with centralized data sources
- Apply statistical techniques (time-series analysis, lift studies, hypothesis testing, attribution modeling) to generate insights and guide media optimization strategies
- Write efficient SQL queries and use Python (or similar coding languages) for advanced analytics, automation, and data modeling
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve data-related issues; collaborate with Data Engineering and Data Science teams to enhance data pipelines and reporting infrastructure
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Math, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or another quantitative field
- 4+ years of experience in data analytics, data insights, or media analytics roles (marketing/media agency experience is a plus)
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to communicate complex analyses clearly to business and technical audiences
- Ability to utilize and collaborate with productivity tools (Jira, Confluence, Monday.com)
