Synapse Health is seeking to optimize business performance and drive strategic decisions by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data, and is looking for a Sr. Data Analyst to help achieve this goal
Requirements
- Proficiency in SQL and Excel, with experience using data visualization platforms (e.g., Sigma, Snowflake, Power BI, Tableau)
- Experience working with large datasets and enterprise systems such as ERP or CRM platforms
- Familiarity with statistical analysis and data modeling techniques
- Knowledge of the healthcare or durable medical equipment (DME) industry
- Experience with Python or R for data analysis
- Familiarity with project management methodologies like Agile or Scrum
- Lean Sigma certification preferred – Yellow or Green Belt
Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Sigma to communicate insights to stakeholders
- Collaborate with business units to understand data needs and translate them into analytical solutions
- Perform ad hoc analyses to support operational and strategic initiatives
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide recommendations for improvement
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy across systems and reporting tools
- Support data governance and documentation efforts, including data dictionaries and process documentation
Other
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field
- 4-7 years of experience in a data analyst or similar role, preferably in healthcare, logistics, or call center environments
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights
- Health Economics or Actuarial experience preferred
- Passion for leveraging data to improve business outcomes and customer experience
