Axon is looking to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of its operations by leveraging data analytics to drive business decisions and mitigate costs and market risks.

Requirements

  • Advanced Power BI (Power Query) or similar data visualization software
  • Advanced SQL Database experience, Ability to both interpret & write complex data queries
  • Experience interfacing with Snowflake
  • ERP systems such as D365
  • Microsoft Power Automate
  • Microsoft Power Apps
  • Artificial Intelligence, Snowflake Data Cloud, Alteryx

Responsibilities

  • Manage, track, and evaluate operational activity and KPIs across Operations team
  • Create & analyze reports helpful for the business to perform better, adding sophistication, and scaling while driving efficiency
  • Perform ad hoc analysis for projects and day-to-day operations providing actionable data insights
  • Synthesize and simplify complex data and quantitative findings into meaningful business recommendations
  • Promote the use of Automation in Analytics
  • Work as a member of a cross-functional team to propose and implement high-impact data and analytic solutions
  • Present complex information using data visualization techniques

Other

  • B.S. degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Operations Research, Engineering, Economics, Data Science or other quantitative field
  • Requires at least 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 4 years and a Master’s degree or technical program; or equivalent work experience
  • Basic project management skills: Stakeholder Management, Time Management, & Communication
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects at once without sacrificing quality
  • Ability to evaluate the big picture and solve business problems rather than focusing solely on metrics
