Vimeo is looking for an experienced data analyst to support its growth team and drive data-informed decision making.

Requirements

  • High proficiency in SQL is a must.
  • Extensive experience in planning and analyzing AB test results.
  • Proficient in Excel and Google Sheets (pivot tables, keyboard shortcuts, etc.
  • Expertise in data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or similar).
  • Experience with R or Python.
  • Proficient in interpreting complex datasets, extracting valuable insights for informed decision-making.
  • Skilled in identifying patterns and translating business questions into effective analytical solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Drive and lead strategic, cross-functional initiatives in order to enable data standardization, increase data consumption and boost data-driven decision making.
  • Communicate findings and insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Work with stakeholders to plan, develop, and analyze A/B tests.
  • Build and maintain user-friendly and informative dashboards, reports, and presentations in order to enable day-to-day and strategic data-driven decision making.
  • Perform advanced analytical deep dives to help stakeholders drill down into why they see certain outcomes.
  • Foster a relationship of trust and cooperation with the stakeholders, creating an atmosphere of knowledge sharing and collaboration.

Other

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Business, Economics, Statistics, or Computer Science) and 5+ years of experience in a data analytics role (preferably in a SaaS business).
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to identifying and solving business challenges.
  • A sense of ownership - capable of independently initiating and driving projects from beginning to end.
  • Demonstrates a problem-solving mindset and stays current with evolving data analysis methodologies.
  • Communicate findings and insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
