T-Mobile is looking to solve business and technical problems in their fastest-growing division, T-Mobile for Business, by collecting data requirements for reporting and analytics, designing data models, and developing data warehouse and data mart objects and metrics.
Requirements
- Advanced SQL
- Writing ETL and stored procedures
- Solid understanding of Data warehouse and data mart concepts
- Experience with Python or other scripting languages
- Experience with Snowflake
- Experience with Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Databricks (preferred)
- Experience with data visualization development in Power BI (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Get a deep understanding of data requirements, business rules and metrics needed by Analytics and Reporting teams.
- Explore existing and new data sources and ingest data into Snowflake, as needed.
- Write ETL, stored procedures, API calls, Python scripts to model and build transformations and validate the data to ensure business requirements are met.
- Build optimal data pipelines and/or scheduled jobs to refresh data on cadence.
- Create data models and document design and process flow.
- Validate the objects built in the data warehouse and track issues to resolution.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with partner teams in a collaborative team environment.
Other
- Bachelor's Degree Computer Engineering, Computer Science, a related subject area or equivalent experience (Required)
- Minimum 4-5 years in data engineering and/or BI development (required)
- Excellent communication skills with experience collaborating with various functional teams (required)
- At least 18 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
