EOG Resources is looking for a Sr. Data Engineer to design, implement, and support full life-cycle data engineering projects for current and future economic planning applications, including large data ingestion, persistence, transformation, and retrieval.
Requirements
- 4+ years data engineering experience
- 2+ years data engineering experience
- 2+ years' experience in the design, implementation and support of full life-cycle data engineering projects
- Experience in event driven and cloud based architectures
- working knowledge of containerization and streaming technologies
- Proficiency using Python, .NET, Node, Java or similar language
- Experience with SQL and other data query languages required
Responsibilities
- designing, implementing and supporting full life-cycle data engineering projects for current and future economic planning applications
- include large data ingestion, persistence, transformation, and retrieval
- designing, developing and maintaining the Oracle, MemSQL and Python code that supports iTypeCurve and iInvest applications
- responsible for the dataflow pipeline between Planning database and other data stores such as Primo, ODM and Accounting data
Other
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other equivalent degree
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other equivalent degree
