Lendio is looking to solve the problem of efficiently managing and optimizing data pipelines and ETL processes to support business needs and provide insights for answering business questions. They aim to build an updated data warehouse and ETL processes using a modern data stack.
Requirements
- Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases
- Advanced knowledge of modern data pipeline architecture, e.g. AWS, Snowflake, etc…
- Proficient knowledge of Python, JS, or, another data-focused programming language.
- Experience with dbt and Snowflake optimization is a plus.
- Experience building and optimizing data pipelines, architectures, and data in a near real-time environment
- Experience working with data ingestion tools or API integrations to pull data from and push data into various business software solutions, e.g. Adobe Analytics, CRM, etc…
- Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to provide required data to analysts in answering business questionsStrong analytic skills related to working with unstructured datasets
Responsibilities
- Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional business requirements
- Harden, optimize, and productize prototypical ETL logic created by analysts to support business needs
- Maintain optimal data pipeline architecture, including looking for and proposing improvements to the existing architecture
- Engage with and bring insights to current projects, building out an updated data warehouse and ETL processes using a modern data stack.
- Assist analyst teams in identifying the best data to use to answer business questions through data dictionary maintenance and overall data knowledge
- Work to identify, design, and implement internal process improvements including: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc…
- Work with functional business leaders to integrate new data sources and software solutions into the reporting environment

- 6+ years of experience in a Data Engineer role, or 4+ years of experience as an analyst with an accompanying technical portfolio.
- Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems or another data-centric discipline or Lambda School preferred.
