Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in data engineering or a related field
- Proficiency in data integration tools and technologies such as ETL, SQL, and data warehousing
- Experience in designing and implementing scalable and efficient data pipelines and infrastructure
- Experience in cloud-based data engineering solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Knowledge of big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka
- Experience in data governance and data quality management practices
- Familiarity with data privacy and security regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the data engineering team, including data integration, data modeling, and data pipeline development
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to understand data requirements, design data models, and implement data integration solutions that support business needs
- Implement data governance processes to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security
- Monitor and optimize the performance of data engineering systems and infrastructure
- Define and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of data engineering operations
- Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends in data engineering
