Early Warning needs to develop and manage policy, standards, and procedures (PSPs) for data quality and metadata, ensuring solutions are impactful, cross-functional, and delivered on time, within scope, and on budget, while also strengthening Critical Data Element (CDE) certification and developing data governance metrics.
Requirements
- Experience with policy management, related frameworks, concepts, and practices.
- Working knowledge and experience within a formal “Three-Lines of Defense” program.
- Experience with CDE certification, metadata management, or data quality framework.
- Experience with data governance tools (e.g., Alation, Collibra, Infomatica, Qualytics, Monte Carlo)
Responsibilities
- Supportsthe Enterprise PSPCprogram initiatives, with a focus on advancing Critical Data Element (CDE) certification, strengthening Policy, Standards, Procedures, and Controls (PSPC), and developing data governance metrics.
- Identifies, develops, recommends, communicates and maintainsData Quality and Metadata PSPC content. Reviews and continuously improves PSPC content to ensure appropriateness and adequacy against best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Developsroadmaps and metrics to track and measure progress for the PSPC program.
- Manage enterprise Critical Data Elements(CDE) certification program – ensuring all high-value assets are identified, and critical metadata attributes are defined and completed.
- Develops roadmaps to complete certification of all CDEs by working with data owners, data stewards, and data custodians.
- Defines, collects, and tracks metadata and data quality metrics.
- Develops reports and dashboards for leadership to measure maturity and progress.
Other
- Five (5) or more years’ experience related todata governance strategy, implementation, and oversight of a firm-wide program.
- Experience drafting documents, including reviewing, and editing.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills to professionally address a wide and varied audience, including executive management, both internally and externally.
- Demonstrated skills as a self-starter, ability to work independently, manage through ambiguity, and deliver results.
- Proven ability to partner and collaborate with others across an organization, including Compliance, Risk, Security, Operations, and IT.
