Requirements
- Experience with object-oriented function scripting languages: Python, R, etc. and driving projects towards successful outcomes.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for designing, building, implementing, and monitoring predictive models across a multitude of US Aflac business use cases.
- designs, develops, and implements data-driven solutions for a wide range of clients.
- Design, develop, deploy, and monitor solutions that are integrated with the business; analyzes large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights using statistical models and machine learning techniques.
- Develops predictive models and algorithms to support decision-making and optimize business processes.
- Develops processes to be applied to extracted source data to move to target state; writes data cleansing functions, translates source code values to target value, standardizes free form values to codes; derives new values through calculations on existing fields; merges data from multiple sources to generate a consolidated source for the target.
- Stays updated with the latest advancements in data science, AI, and analytics, incorporating new tools and techniques into projects.
- Leads and assists with the development and training of analysts in other internal business areas.

- Bachelor’s degree in data science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
- 5+ years (preferred) of experience in data science, analytics/consulting.
- Demonstrated experience performing complex predictive and prescriptive business-related analysis
- Master's Degree
- 3 or more years job-related experience that demonstrates successful data, programming, and analytics work driving business outcomes.
