Genesis10 is seeking a Data Scientist III (Senior) to advance their client's data science and analytics capabilities by developing sophisticated models, deriving actionable insights from complex data sets, and supporting strategic decision-making processes.
Requirements
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
- Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and data mining techniques.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data science or analytics roles.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement advanced analytical models to solve complex business problems.
- Analyze large and diverse data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform strategic decisions.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that communicate key findings to stakeholders.
- Apply machine learning techniques to improve predictive analytics and automate decision-making processes.
- Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous validation and testing procedures.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and techniques in data science and analytics.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to the continuous improvement of data science practices within the organization.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field; Master’s or Ph.D. preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
