Children's Mercy is looking to develop and maintain complex algorithms to analyze healthcare data, collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate these models into existing systems, and ensure ethical standards in data handling to improve patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Ph.D. and 1-2 years' experience in healthcare data and/or data science related roles.
- Master's Degree and 3-5 years' experience in healthcare data and/or data science related roles.
- Bachelor's Degree and 5-7 years experience in healthcare data and/or data science related roles.
- Advanced machine learning techniques
- Cloud-based data platform technologies
- Data science and AI advancements
Responsibilities
- Develops, deploys, and maintains complex algorithms, resulting in insightful output that integrates with other systems and applications, through the use of our cloud-based data platform technologies.
- Utilize advanced machine learning techniques to perform in-depth analysis of healthcare and/or operational data, identifying patterns and insights to improve patient outcomes.
- Works closely with clinicians, researchers, and IT professionals to understand data needs and deliver solutions that support our mission.
- Stays updated on the latest data science and AI advancements, evaluates new technologies for pediatric care, and collaborates with experts to foster continuous learning and innovation.
- Assesses emerging data science tools and AI technologies for potential integration into hospital systems, ensuring they meet the specific needs of pediatric care.
