Roku aims to power every television in the world and is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to drive insights and decisions for its Ads Manager business, connecting consumers to content and enabling content publishers to build audiences.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of advanced analytics experience or a Masters/Ph.D. with 3+ years of experience
- Strong SQL skills, and experience with BI tools like Looker
- Experience in R or Python
- Deep knowledge of experimental design and causal inference methods & expertise in A/B testing
- Experience with forecasting models such as SARIMA, Prophet, TFT, etc.
- Experience in data management, analytics, data science and reporting
- Highly independent and able to manage relationships with stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Build reporting data pipelines and dashboards to ensure stakeholders can access accurate, timely, and actionable insights
- Design and execute A/B tests
- Work directly with stakeholders to understand key business questions that will accelerate the Ads Manager business
- Analyze structured and unstructured data and communicate insights to help stakeholders solve business problems, identify trends and make data-driven decisions
- Develop analytics tools (models, alerts, testing frameworks, etc.) to understand what drives the success of the Ads Manager product
- Deliver presentations to clearly and effectively communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders
- Translate complex technical topics into clear business recommendations

- For New York Only - The estimated annual salary for this position is between $132,000-$254,000 annually
- This role is hybrid (Monday - Thursday) and located in New York City
