PayPal is seeking to lead the development and implementation of advanced data science models and algorithms to enhance credit risk strategies, improve lending decisions, and ensure data quality and integrity in their global payment solutions.
Requirements
- 3+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Develop, refine, and implement credit risk strategies using advanced analytics and unit economics.
- Take ownership of key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics related to credit risk for new accounts and applications.
- Partner cross-functionally with teams including Machine Learning, Fraud, Compliance, Legal, Marketing, Product, Engineering, Bank Partners, and more.
- Effectively communicate complex findings and strategy recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Lead end-to-end project execution with minimal assistance as a credit risk expert.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging risks related to commercial lending.
