McKesson is looking to transform complex sales and compensation data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making across the enterprise, specifically to evaluate and optimize sales incentive programs.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in data science or analytics, with a focus on sales compensation or sales performance.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python or R, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Strong understanding of statistical modeling, forecasting, and machine learning techniques.
  • Experience with sales compensation platforms (e.g., Xactly, Varicent, Anaplan) is a plus.
  • Deliver a suite of executive-ready dashboards that provide real-time visibility into sales compensation performance.
  • Develop and deploy at least two predictive models to support incentive plan optimization.
  • Establish a standardized framework for compensation data governance and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement statistical models to evaluate sales compensation performance and forecast outcomes.
  • Conduct scenario analysis and simulations to support incentive plan design and optimization.
  • Develop predictive models for forecasting, anomaly detection, and risk assessment.
  • Build and maintain interactive dashboards (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to visualize compensation metrics, attainment, and payout trends.
  • Ensure dashboards are scalable, intuitive, and aligned with business needs.
  • Collaborate with data engineering teams to enhance data pipelines and infrastructure.
  • Lead efforts to improve data quality, integration, and governance across compensation systems.

Other

  • Degree or equivalent and typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, cross-functional corporate environment.
  • Build strong partnerships with Sales, Finance, and HR to align analytics with business strategy.
