Barings is looking to enhance its proprietary and third-party applications, drive data automation, and deliver insights to support firm-wide decision-making within the Private Markets Systems team.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with T-SQL, stored procedures, and Microsoft BI tools.
- Experience in Private Assets, or financial services is a plus.
- Lead development and enhancement of internal and third-party applications using .NET, SQL Server / Databricks, and Power BI.
- Drive data automation and reporting initiatives, including extract creation and delivery.
- Translate investment and operational needs into technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with urgency.
Responsibilities
- Lead development and enhancement of internal and third-party applications using .NET, SQL Server / Databricks, and Power BI.
- Drive data automation and reporting initiatives, including extract creation and delivery.
- Serve as a strategic partner to business teams, translating investment and operational needs into technical solutions.
- Provide rotational onsite support to business users until close of business.
- Collaborate on hiring and onboarding efforts, including interview coordination and feedback for new developer candidates.
- Supporting the firm’s reporting ecosystem ensuring timely and accurate data delivery, including coordination with MassMutual and other stakeholders.
- Leading enhancements to internal reporting platforms and tools, including creation of new data loaders and extract formats.
