Vonage is looking to drive developer engagement and brand recognition by creating impactful video content that showcases their cloud communication solutions and APIs.

Requirements

  • Experience in creating engaging video content for developer audiences.
  • Understand the basics and beyond of video editing, ideally with Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Knowledge of what it entails to drive the end-to-end process of creating a video from scratch
  • Proficient with at least one modern programming language (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Java, or C)
  • Proficient with command line (e.g., Bash Shell, Windows Command Prompt, etc.)
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and cloud communications platforms
  • Ability to help build animations that Vonage can reuse in other content.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and produce engaging video content for the Vonage Developers YouTube channel, highlighting the use cases and benefits of Vonage's APIs and other related topics.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and partners to ensure consistent messaging and high-quality video content is produced.
  • Collaborate with the developer community team to amplify events, sponsorships, and partnerships through compelling video storytelling, emphasizing the value of APIs in developer projects.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders from Developer Relations and Product teams to contribute to the overall long-form video content strategy, ensuring alignment and effectiveness in showcasing APIs.
  • Continuously integrate developer feedback into video content plans to enhance relevance and engagement around APIs.

  • Prior Experience as a Developer Advocate is preferred
  • Experience navigating community engagement platforms (e.g., Slack)
  • Remote work arrangement based out of the United States.
