Pilot Company is looking to develop and maintain software solutions that meet project requirements and adhere to best practices in software development. They need to extend proprietary WinForms applications and design, develop, and maintain web-based applications.
Requirements
- Full Stack Development required.
- Proficient in at least one programming language such as AngularJS, .NET C-Sharp, Java required, preference if multiple languages.
- Relational databases, preferably Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience in the Oil and Gas industry and/or systems is a plus.
- Demonstrated understanding of commodities trading, front/middle/back office, as well as first-hand experience working in a trading environment with lots of context switching and demanding timelines.
- Experience in ETRM systems preferred (i.e.: RightAngle, Endur, Allegro, etc.)
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software solutions that meet project requirements and adhere to best practices in software development.
- Extend proprietary WinForms application using C-Sharp .NET.
- Design, develop and maintain web-based applications using a variety of technologies, including but not limited to: .Net, AngularJS.
- Maintain and improve code quality and adherence to coding standards.
- Troubleshoot and debug software applications to ensure they are running efficiently, and meeting client needs.
- Analyzes problems/issues of diverse scope and determines solutions utilizing best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field. or equivalent experience
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously, meet goals and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Works independently with minimal guidance
- Requires conceptual and practical expertise in own area and general knowledge of related areas.
- Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate the company in the market
