The Senior Developer – Special Projects will serve as a high-impact technical innovator, responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing specialized software solutions that drive strategic initiatives across the organization. This position combines the technical depth of a senior full-stack developer with the architectural mindset to guide integration and modernization initiatives across multiple systems.
Requirements
- Proficiency in cloud technologies (Azure, AWS), database design, and distributed architectures.
- Strong SQL reporting and business intelligence development skills.
- Strong DevOps and CI/CD implementation skills.
- Familiarity with data security and compliance standards (HIPAA, SOC 2).
- Strong understanding of enterprise integration standards (HL7, FHIR, CCDA, X12).
- Advanced SQL skills, including query optimization, stored procedure development, and report writing.
- Experience with CRMs (Salesforce, HubSpot), analytics tools, and API-first design.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable, cloud-based applications and integrations across internal and client-facing systems.
- Architect modular solutions leveraging Azure, AWS, and Microsoft 365 ecosystems.
- Develop & implement APIs, automation workflows, and data pipelines for interoperability between healthcare platforms (HL7, CCDA, FHIR, X12).
- Prototype, test, and launch innovative tools and applications aligned with organizational strategy.
- Build integrations with EHR and analytical tools for improved business intelligence and workflow efficiency.
- Lead performance optimization and application refactoring initiatives to reduce costs and improve reliability and efficiency.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and views to support application performance and reporting.
