Johnson & Johnson is looking to solve the problem of developing and manufacturing synthetic drug products by hiring a Senior Director, Synthetics Manufacturing Drug Product Leader to provide technical and scientific leadership across the product life cycle.
Requirements
- Strong expertise in synthetics manufacturing drug product manufacturing processes, validation, equipment, and regulations with focus on Synthetics Manufacturing Drug Product technology is required.
- Proven understanding of Quality & Compliance/Regulatory Requirements/Safety (GMP/EH&S) especially for Synthetics Manufacturing Drug Product Technology is required.
- Proven working knowledge in Supply Chain functions and financials is required.
- A master’s degree is required, engineering, science or related degree.
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in a pharmaceutical environment is required.
- Strong leadership skills, communication and presentation skills and analytical, quantitative skills are required.
- Fluent (written and spoken) is required.
Responsibilities
- Sets the strategy, priorities, goals and objectives, managing MSAT operations between and at the sites, achieving the goals of the manufacturing organization in line with SM Global Manufacturing Platform objectives.
- Partners with the Advanced Manufacturing Lead to ensure deployment of innovation and implementation of new technology
- Drives process standardization and best practice sharing, across platform and internal and external sites.
- Leads diverse site and global technical teams and drives talent development, to encompass product technical ownership and support for the SM DP Platform.
- Creates an organization of highly skilled technical expertise and profound scientific and manufacturing knowhow.
- Defines and directs MSAT SM DP platform organization– defines strategies, methods, and processes to assure technical and manufacturing integration from early development to launch & growth, value optimization and late stage
- Influence technology innovation and deploys standards and its applications through assets and products
