Requirements
- Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel
- Analytical thinking and financial modelling
- Knowledge of aircraft engine Used Serviceable Material (USM)
- Experience with engine product line management or equivalent aviation experience
- Familiarity with engine types such as CFM Family, CF6 Family, V2500, PW2000/4000, and GE90
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain teardown and monetization model for current generation turbofan engines
- Develop and maintain engine models that include currently installed parts list, applicable SB/AD Status, LLP Status and Cycles Remaining, expected repair costs and scrap rates, Expected Sales Price, Net Proceeds Generated, and Cash Flow Timing
- Allocate cost and ensure material is entered into Quantum from engine teardowns
- Monitor engine performance and proactively identify deviations from expected returns, both positive and negative
- Generate LCM (Lower cost or market) reports by analyzing part value trends, repair cost structures, and yield performance across engine types
- Prioritize material induction and repairs based on demand trends, quote activity, and sales conversion rates
- Support forecasting of material availability for major customer programs and strategic engine builds
Other
- 10+ years’ experience in Engine Product Line Management or equivalent aviation experience, with a history of increasing levels of responsibility
- 10% Travel as needed for conferences and customer visits
