Requirements
- Tests and modifies general systems-level software/hardware, specialized utility and/or hardware.
- Interprets wireless specifications.
- Designs test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures.
- Documents systems-level defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to developers.
- Identifies, analyzes, troubleshoots, and documents problems with program function, output, or content.
- Develops testing programs that assess effectiveness of a new system or modification of an existing system.
- Creates overarching test strategy in order to direct work for the entire team.

- Manages the implementation of a testing plan and ensures test cases appropriately and fully address the feature functionality.
Other
- Conducts staff meetings to get involved in solving technical and people problems, quality initiatives, efficiencies, and customer support areas.
- Provides guidance across teams on prioritization of work tasks.
- Conducts regular meetings with senior level engineers to determine whether there are larger root causes associated with recurring issues.
- Ensures that others provide support and thought leadership to the team with regard to identifying and understanding systems failure.
- Motivates entire teams or functional groups to perform at their best and accept change.
