JPMorganChase is looking to design and engineer firmwide data infrastructure products to enable users across the organization to easily find and access data, supporting key data governance and lineage initiatives.
Requirements
- Deep technical expertise managing large scale platforms – preferably with experience in data platforms and how these are integrated with AI/ML solutions.
- Expertise in AWS technologies and cloud infrastructure, with experience in Kubernetes and other cloud platforms.
- Demonstrated proficiency in technical solutions, vendor product knowledge, managing vendor relations, and implementing solutions
- Ability to align technical solutions with regulatory and business objectives
- Experience with hiring, developing, and recognizing talent
- Advanced analytical reasoning skills, applying critical thinking and problem-solving techniques to break down business, technical, and operational objectives
- Proven ability in leading through change, managing dependencies, and controlling change in high-pressure, shifting environments
Responsibilities
- Technical engineering for data integration across the Firm with experience implementing interoperability across multiple data platforms using standards such as Iceberg.
- Lead the execution of critical data initiatives focused on enabling access to data, data governance, and entitlements, as well as building key data infrastructure using SaaS platforms and AWS.
- Partner with the product organization to drive end to end business outcomes, ensuring that technical programs are aligned with strategic business goals.
- Manages multiple stakeholders, complex projects, and large cross-product collaborations.
- Influences peer leaders and senior stakeholders across the business, product, and technology teams.
- Champions the firm’s culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.
- Provides leadership and high-level direction to teams while frequently overseeing employee populations across multiple platforms, divisions, and lines of business.
Other
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 10+ years applied experience.
- 5+ years of experience leading technologists to manage, anticipate and solve complex technical items within your domain of expertise.
- Advanced expertise in stakeholder management, establishing productive relationships, and driving beneficial outcomes aligned with firm objectives
- Experience working for large enterprise global firms
- Financial Services experience
