Salesforce is transforming how 12,000+ internal engineers build, test, and deploy products across our global ecosystem and is looking for a VP of Product for Developer Experience to define the vision, strategy, and execution for our internal platforms and developer productivity capabilities.
Requirements
- 15+ years of progressive product management experience, including 5+ years leading senior product leaders at scale
- Proven track record managing developer platforms, internal tooling, or infrastructure products for large engineering organizations
- Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle, CI/CD, and modern cloud-native engineering practices
- AI literate with hands on ability to go from PRD to Vibe-coding
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and align C-level stakeholders across a complex, matrixed organization
- Exceptional communication skills, equally comfortable presenting strategy to senior executive leaders and discussing technical tradeoffs with engineers
Responsibilities
- Define the vision, strategy, and execution for our internal platforms and developer productivity capabilities
- Partner with senior engineering, security, and product leaders to shape the next generation of tooling and paved paths that enable engineers to deliver innovation faster, with higher quality, and at massive scale
- Build, mentor, and inspire a world-class team of product managers and developer advocates
- Foster a culture of innovation, inclusion, and continuous learning while growing future product leaders
- Drive large-scale transformations that significantly improved developer productivity, velocity, and satisfaction
- Present strategy to senior executive leaders and discuss technical tradeoffs with engineers
- Go from PRD to Vibe-coding with AI literacy
