Piper Companies is seeking a Senior Director, Product Targeting Strategy to lead the development and execution of targeted marketing strategies for consumer lending products including credit cards, personal loans, and auto loans. This hybrid role, based in Tysons, Virginia, involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to build data-driven frameworks, optimize campaign performance, and drive profitable growth.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in targeted marketing campaign strategy and analytics.
- Strong knowledge of statistical modeling, machine learning, and test-and-learn methodologies.
- Proficiency in SQL, R, Python, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience working with large datasets.
- Familiarity with CRM and marketing platforms such as Salesforce and Experian Ascend.
- Proven experience with consumer financial products, especially credit card, auto, and personal lending.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement targeting strategies to expand PenFed’s consumer lending portfolio beyond current membership.
- Collaborate with product partners and Decision Science teams to build propensity and response models.
- Establish a rigorous, data-driven test-and-learn framework to improve campaign effectiveness and profitability.
- Lead a team focused on optimizing direct mail, email, and digital marketing campaigns.
- Design programs to expand direct marketing reach with a focus on positive selection and smart growth.
- Partner with Credit, Marketing, Product, and external data providers to refine segmentation and targeting strategies.
- Monitor industry trends and guide strategic responses to platform and data landscape changes.
