Requirements
- Proven experience managing software development teams delivering highly available enterprise-level, web-based applications with fantastic user experience
- Experience using AI to increase developer productivity and to launch AI-based new product offerings
- Experience with measuring a service from a user experience perspective, setting, and tracking to SLAs and KPIs
- Ability to represent technical and business issues and solutions to multiple levels internally and externally to support organizational plans
- Experience with Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle principles
- Strong technical goal setting for a project with actionable success metrics
Responsibilities
- Own the vision, strategy, and execution for internal and external-facing web applications across Visa's product portfolio
- Guide the design and implementation of modern, scalable, and accessible interfaces using best-in-class front-end technologies and frameworks
- Partner closely with Product, Design, and Backend teams to deliver cohesive, seamless user experiences that delight customers and set industry benchmarks
- Lead multiple large diverse technical teams at all levels and closely collaborate with program and product teams
- Deliver products with complex technical interdependencies collaborating with cross-geographical development and product teams
- Build a culture of engineering excellence (quality, security, performance, scalability, availability, resilience etc.) across teams and the entire organization
Other
- 12+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 9 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 15+ years of relevant work experience
- Outstanding verbal, written, presentation, facilitation, and interaction skills, along with effective communication (both written and verbal) skills
- Ability to work in a complex organization to determine business and customer needs, providing the best solution to meet those needs
- Ability to manage multiple competing top priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time
