Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, with a strong background in an object-oriented or functional programming language.
- Experience building complex, large-scale enterprise ecommerce or transactional web applications.
- Experience with enterprise commerce systems such as Salesforce Commerce Cloud (aka Demandware) is a plus.
- Experience with streaming technologies (Kafka, Pubsub, etc) and event-based systems.
- Proficiency in languages and technologies (Java, SpringBoot, JavaScript/Typescript, React, Next.js, Node.js, etc).
- Experience with unit testing frameworks, CI/CD, containerization, and Git source control.
- Experience with common design patterns, unit testing, and secure coding (OWASP) practices.
Responsibilities
- Collaborating with product owners, various business teams, and other engineers to create and improve scalable and secure fullstack end-to-end solutions.
- Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues related to digital commerce checkout/promotions/payment/account systems.
- Designing, implementing, optimizing, and operating the ecommerce platform for a mobile-first customer-facing online shopping experience.
- Writing clean, reusable, and maintainable code, while adhering to high-quality standards and best practices.
- Conducting code reviews and low-level design reviews to ensure quality and standards are met.
- Participating in front-end and back-end technical design discussions and ensuring solutions are sound and align with architectural standards.
- Providing technical leadership and guidance to a team of engineers.
