T-Mobile is seeking a Sr Software Engineer to join their Cloud Security Team to craft, implement, and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure across public and hybrid cloud environments. The role aims to embed security standards into the cloud development lifecycle, secure and automate cloud workloads, automate compliance, and ensure cloud environments are resilient against threats.
Requirements
- Proficiency and hands-on experience in modern programming languages such as Java, Python, Go etc.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and performance tuning of cloud services
Responsibilities
- Leads implementation efforts across multi-cloud infrastructure ensuring scalability, performance and security
- Develop infrastructure as code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and automation for deployment and monitoring
- Architect and optimize systems using modern frameworks and cloud-native patterns (e.g., microservices, containers, serverless)
- Evaluate and implement cloud strategies and tools that reduce complexity and improve efficiency
- Facilitate to craft and implementation reviews with a focus on performance, reliability, and cost optimization
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers through code reviews, learning and training sessions
- Lead and influence architectural discussions and technical roadmaps
