Nationwide is looking to improve the quality and efficiency of their Telematics Smart Products Experience through test automation for large, diverse, multi-system initiatives.
Requirements
- Strong automation mindset with proven experience in test automation development.
- Hands-on experience with Ruby/Cucumber and other automation tools.
- Proficiency in API testing (Postman or similar tools).
- Experience with Kafka validation and automation.
- Solid understanding of test planning, execution, and dependency coordination.
- Working knowledge of defect tracking tool/s
- Experience with CI/CD integration for automated test pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement test automation frameworks for multi-system projects.
- Perform card-level testing, test case planning, and optimize test efficiencies.
- Coordinate dependencies across teams and ensure seamless integration testing.
- Contribute to test community forums, sharing best practices and leveraging AI-driven solutions for test expansion and effectiveness.
- Analyzes, solutions, develops, tests, debugs, documents and deploys software according to standards and best practices.
- Applies secure software and systems engineering practices throughout the delivery lifecycle to ensure our data and technology solutions are protected from threats and vulnerabilities.
- Uses DevSecOps practices, tooling and techniques.
Other
- Undergraduate studies in computer science, management information systems, or other related degree.
- Two or more years of analysis and technology experience.
- Ability to thrive in a team environment.
- Insurance/financial services industry knowledge a plus.
