F5 is looking to define and implement an AI architecture strategy to unlock productivity gains across all job families throughout the organization.
Requirements
- 15+ years in enterprise architecture, solutions architecture, or related technical leadership roles
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with AI/ML technologies, including recent work with LLMs and generative AI
- Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their AI/ML services
- Experience designing systems that meet enterprise security and compliance, and strong knowledge of API design, microservices, and integration patterns
- Familiarity with AI governance frameworks, responsible AI principles, and Knowledge of data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, SOC2)
- Strong background in developer productivity tools, developer experience, AI agents for coding, and MLOps.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain the enterprise AI reference architecture, including patterns for LLM integration, agentic workflows, GraphRAG & RAG systems, and model deployment
- Evaluate and recommend AI platforms, tools, and vendors aligned with enterprise requirements.
- Define integration patterns between AI capabilities and existing enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, collaboration tools, security infrastructure), and establish technical standards for AI development, deployment, and operations.
- Design guardrails and monitoring frameworks for responsible AI deployment, data governance standards for AI training data, prompts, and outputs
- Create proofs-of-concept to validate architectural decisions and establish metrics frameworks to measure AI solution effectiveness and ROI
- Build and mentor a community of practice around agentic AI developments.

- Partner with Security, Legal, and Compliance teams to ensure AI solutions meet regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for business audiences
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
