Requirements
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus on Excel and PowerPoint
- Advanced expertise of SQL/GBQ, including building complex queries and stored procedures
- Ability to combine technical skills with business acumen to develop new reporting
- Experience working with ambiguous data and creating novel solutions to complicated problems
- Working knowledge of Tableau, with a foundational understanding of analytical techniques and data visualization
- Demonstrated agility in learning and adapting to new technologies and tools
- Proficiency in translating analytical insights into visual formats that effectively tell a story and emphasize key points
Responsibilities
- Finance Operations Support: Develop new tools for and curate data sources to assist business partners in their decision-making
- Analysis and Evaluation of Projects and Strategic Business Decisions: Evaluate and manage financial aspects of key strategic projects and decisions, providing insight into viability, impacts to the business, and risk management
- Data Analytics: Apply advanced analytical techniques to financial data, enabling predictive insights, trend analysis, and strategic forecasting
- Planning, Forecasting, and Reporting - Lead the development of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and monthly financial reports
- Preparing and Delivering Insights - Develop and present financial analysis both visually and verbally to business leaders
- Cross-Functional Collaboration - Sr. Financial Analysts work closely with business leaders up to and including VPs to understand their business operations
- Project Based Analysis - Conduct detailed analyses for purposes of investment initiatives and capital allocation
