At Home is looking to solve the problem of designing and developing front-end features in current and future products and content updates via CMS, and implementing a consistent content style guide and processes.
Requirements
- A deep proficiency in front-end web development and comprehensive knowledge of technologies like JavaScript, CSS and JQuery
- Comprehensive knowledge of software engineering processes, tools, methods and support
- Experience in diagnosing and troubleshooting cross-browser and cross-platform issues
- Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud, or similar e-commerce platforms
- 5+ years of experience coding in HTML, CSS, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
- Strong development experience with multiple programming languages and an enjoyment of learning new technologies
- Experience with HTML, CSS, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
Responsibilities
- Create well designed and efficient HTML/CSS/JS, determine technical requirements, and solve code problems
- Collaborate with designers to translate design mockups/wireframes into usable web pages with regards to SEO, and usability and accessibility best practices
- Work within existing code and CMS platform to build out pages and make edits to existing pages with supplied content
- Optimize applications for responsiveness, cross-browser compatibility and performance
- Building small, internal applications that are testable, maintainable, extensible and highly efficient
- Designing and implementing customer-facing features and functionality
- Documenting, testing and ongoing support of customer-facing content and functionality
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Strategic thinker with the ability to clearly articulate and implement a focused plan
