Intuitive is looking for strong technical leads to help build out their core platform and enable broader development teams to create better products for patients. The goal is to promote significant change that will improve the productivity of engineering teams and enhance the usability of tools.
Requirements
- Expert level knowledge of JavaScript/Typescript and hands-on experience with modern React
- Experience building developer tools
- Experience with Linux
- Experience with Python
- Experience deploying and scaling applications on cloud services like AWS (lambda is a plus)
- Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases
- Experience with Kafka, Hadoop, Spark, or other data processing tools
Responsibilities
- Scope, design, and implement applications to interact with our robot and the data it generates.
- Identify opportunities to reduce friction in the software development process and increase engineering velocity.
- Lead the expansion of internal telemetry and observability tools.
- Educate internal development teams on how to best leverage available tooling
Other
- Minimum BSc degree in Computer science or adjacent technical field with 8+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with a diverse range of talented engineers
- Preference will be given to qualified candidates who do not reside, or plan to reside, in Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, or Tennessee.
- Set Schedule - This job will be onsite weekly, the percentage of onsite work will be defined by the leader.
