Deploy quality code to update, enhance, and add features to a suite of public-facing government web applications at MetroStar
Requirements
- 5+ years' experience with a web-based application framework (Ruby on Rails backend, React frontend)
- Proven full stack application development experience with React frontend and Ruby backend, as well as database technologies including Oracle and PostgreSQL
- Experience working as part of an agile development team
- Experience building production web applications on cloud-based infrastructure
- Experience with git-based source code repositories such as Github, Gitlab, and Bitbucket
Responsibilities
- Participate in all agile scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, daily standups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives), developing and deploying secure, high-quality code to update, enhance, and add new functionality to a public-facing suite of government web applications

- Ability to obtain and maintain DHS Suitability
- Excellent writing and communications skills
