PagerDuty is seeking a Sr. Full-Stack Software Engineer 4 to join their Incident Analysis team to enhance the post-incident review experience for PagerDuty customers and solve technical challenges while scaling the product.
Requirements
- You have 8+ years of experience as a full-stack software engineer working on customer-facing applications.
- You are proficient with at least one of the following programming languages and frameworks: JavaScript / NodeJS, TypeScript / React, Python, Ruby on Rails, Elixir, or Java.
- Must have 3+ years of experience working with React.
- You have experience designing, building, and operating large, enterprise-level systems against scalability, availability, and performance requirements.
- You have experience deploying and operating services in AWS and Kubernetes.
- You have built or consumed GraphQL APIs using Apollo (server/client).
- You have been on-call for services in the past, and are familiar with incident response and/or post-incident review best practices.
Responsibilities
- You will utilize best practices in software engineering to architect, code, test, and deploy high-quality solutions that meet customer requirements and adhere to internal standards.
- Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize tasks, and deliver features on time and within scope.
- Participate in your team's on-call rotation, triaging and addressing production issues as they arise.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and resolve issues, ensuring the stability and performance of integrated solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, knowledge-sharing sessions, and continuous improvement initiatives to foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
- Use your analytical skills to clarify questions, share your approach, and collaborate with your team to build and test elegant solutions.
Other
- This role is expected to come into our Atlanta office 1 day per month.
