Addepar is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to modernize its financial data ecosystem architecture and build outstanding user experiences, powerful APIs, and sophisticated analysis tools for its global customer base.
Requirements
- Extensive experience building services in a professional environment
- Experience building services with Java, Mysql and AWS
- Experience of frontend frameworks like Ember, Angular or React. We use Ember, so you need to be motivated by learning Ember if experience is with other technologies
- Understanding of REST, service-based architecture, and distributed systems
- A rapid learner with robust analytical and problem-solving abilities
- A curious person, who enjoys digging deep into requirements and handling complexity
- Demonstrated commitment to the best software development practices
Responsibilities
- Contribute to our long-term vision for achieving a modern, service-based architecture
- Own front to back software features from inception through delivery
- Contribute to architecture designs, product roadmaps, and code reviews
- Analyse and dive deep into a complex and powerful ecosystem, understanding requirements, determining optimal approaches and driving change
- Debug and troubleshoot issues across the entire application stack
