Intuitive is looking to drive the entry and scale of their innovative robotic technology for lung access, Ion, in key global markets. This involves enhancing future platforms, ensuring an optimal customer experience, and managing product lifecycles from launch to end-of-life.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of product management experience.
  • Experience with product launches.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Tableau, and Salesforce.
  • Hands-on data analysis skills with a demonstrated ability to use data to develop market and product insights and inform decision-making.
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas: medical software, capital equipment, flexible catheters, robotics.

Responsibilities

  • Execute high-impact projects to enhance the capabilities of future Ion platforms.
  • Understand the needs of external customers (clinicians, key opinion leaders, reprocessing teams, hospitals, payors) and internal stakeholders (Field Sales, Customer Support, Field Engineering, Services) to identify and develop in-market solutions and inform product development.
  • Drive product management in the global Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) process.
  • Monitor and prioritize global product quality issues with regional teams and customers.
  • Leverage and implement ecosystem solutions with existing customers, ensuring internal alignment on prioritization as part of the annual planning process.
  • Head geographic market expansion projects through regulatory clearance and commercialization processes.
  • Develop go-to-market plans in partnership with corporate and regional Marketing, Regulatory, and Commercial teams to ensure successful market entry of the Ion platform and its product portfolio.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience presenting to senior management and customers.
  • Self-starter with demonstrated leadership abilities in fast-paced environments.
  • Agility to pivot focus to meet evolving customer needs and shifting market dynamics.
  • Experience adapting communication styles to accommodate cultural nuances across various management levels; multicultural understanding and empathy are essential.
  • Ability to work in surgical labs and hospital patient care areas.
  • Willingness to travel 40–50%, including international travel.
