The company is looking to optimize its indirect procurement processes to support the development and launch of its next-gen rocket, Terran R.
Requirements
- Expertise in contract structures, contract negotiation, understanding/communicating contract risk
- Knowledge of enterprise applications (i.e., PLM, ERP, MES)
- Experience working cross-functionally with internal stakeholders
- Knowledge of contract structures, contract negotiations, contract implementation, and vendor management (nice to have)
- Experience with strategic sourcing, manufacturing, or engineering
- Experience with procurement processes and tools
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles
Responsibilities
- Support the development and implementation of supply chain strategy
- Manage a broad and diverse vendor base
- Leverage forecasts and direct requests to develop commodity strategies
- Manage end-to-end process including PO Creation, RFI/RFQ/RFP process, Invoice Resolution
- Identify and capture cost savings as part of RFP’s
- Develop relationships with internal stakeholders to anticipate requirements
- Implement procurement strategies aligned to business requirements
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain/Operations Management, Economics/Finance, or similar
- 7+ years of demonstrated success in a strategic sourcing, manufacturing, or engineering role
- Ability to provide targeted, strategic & professional communication
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain/Operations Management, or similar (nice to have)
